Meet Beans!

There is a new and adorable addition to Ballard Animal Hospital.

Beans came to us from the Seattle Animal Shelter for treatments. She was found as a stray and was missing part of her front right leg (it’s still a mystery as to how she lost it). We fell in love with her sweet and loving demeanor immediately. With no owner to claim her, we asked Seattle Animal Shelter if we could adopt her! The day after her official welcome to our hospital family, Dr. Berry amputated what remained of her leg due to its inability to heal. Now she’s a happy, playful and very hungry kitten! (Don’t worry, she eats plenty.)

She loves to be held and to give hugs. She and our original hospital cat, Sahara, took to one another right away - though Sahara has no trouble reminding her who is in charge. For now, she will be contained to the back of the hospital while she learns the ropes.
