In Memory of Myrna

12-21-2004 to 10-18-2014

Myrna the Lab/Saint Bernard mix was our gentle, loving and sweet giant. She loved to talk like a wookiee, lean on people until they petted her, give big slobbery kisses to anyone within reach, walk around the neighborhood, hike and camp with her people, lie on the deck in the sun and help keep the yard clean when the plums fell from the tree. Her favorite thing to do was to get all 100 plus pounds of herself into someone’s lap… which we were always happy to accommodate.

At the dog park, she was our little politician, meeting and greeting every human in the place, and then chasing the other dogs for about three bounding steps, before deciding they were just moving too fast and going back to the people. Myrna was an irresistible friend whose giant and goofy wiggling made everyone smile, most of all us.

Ballard Animal Hospital was one of her favorite places to visit because of all the love and attention she got from the incredible people there who took such great care of her for her entire life. She couldn’t wait to get her paws up on the reception counter to say hello to Jan!

We miss her terribly and were so incredibly lucky to have her. Love you, Myrna!
