In Memory of Ruby

Ruby left us peacefully almost a week ago
I still miss her.
She came to us as a rescue I thought we help out keep her a few weeks,
That was Xmas 2011,
We learned she came from New Mexico,
Where she was in a big dog rescue,
I had 2 big dogs missed my little dog. We had lost in July of 2011,
Ruby was young she had been passed around a lot we learned of many families,
So we decided to keep her,
She keep my lap full , sleep by my side,
She was in 2 different packs our big dogs passed, Ruby fit in with the corgi set.
She loved the rabbits , love the cats for their food she would sneak.
She known for her freedom runs,
She come back almost to say what I came back.
She had health problems through her years
At end the heart meds didn’t help but gave us 2 extra years with my little white dog,
I believe she hung in on last travel to fine us a home to keep Reba with us she made sure
We were safe. And we are.
