In Memory of Saffy

April 15th 2002-August 10th 2016

Saffy came into our lives June 18th 2002 as the most adorable, playful 8 week old puppy and the best little fur baby we could have asked for. She never lost her puppy-like Peter Pan playfulness, always there with a happy tail, a favorite toy (and she had many), and eager to play. She would often clown around, and make us laugh at her comical ways. Saffy was also very loving, easy going, carefree, sensitive, and wanting to please. She had the most beautiful soft coat to stroke, and we could hold her like a baby. Her most noticeable feature was her little brown button like eyes and looking into them you could see deep into her happy soul, and feel the power of her love. She was the center of attention at her two dad’s wedding, walking down the aisle proudly with her tail wagging. Saffy enjoyed routine, and was most comfortable lounging around the house, ruffling up her blankets, or running and playing in her backyard. She loved carrots and green beans, her favorite treats, and was always nearby in the kitchen to help her dad cook. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, when she would get very excited about opening gifts. Saffy enjoyed the coast, and you could see her smile as she ran on the beach and chased seagulls. She was loved by so many people and touched the hearts of everyone she met.

Saffy, you gave us 14 wonderful years of happiness, joy, and unconditional love, and we are forever grateful. You will always be a part of our family and we are so very happy you shared your life with us. We know you are now at peace and have joined your big sister Chloe, together again, running free along the beach and chasing seagulls. We miss you baby girl. You are in our hearts forever.
