NEW CLIENT POLICY

We are currently accepting new clients.

Due to a high number of no-show appointments and the high demand for veterinary care, we require a $105 deposit (the cost of our exam fee) to be paid in advance for all new clients in order to schedule an appointment. This deposit applies directly to the cost of the appointment for your pet and is not an additional charge.

The deposit is considered non-refundable in the case of a client not showing up for a scheduled appointment or failing to give more than 12-hour notice to cancel or reschedule their appointment.

Missed Appointment Policy

We ask that you call promptly if you are unable to attend your pet’s appointment. If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require that you call or email our team a minimum of 12 hours in advance. When missed appointments occur, it affects other patients who need veterinary care. Appointments are in high demand, and your timely cancellation will give another patient access to our medical care.

What Is Considered A Missed Appointment?

  • Failing to show up to your pet’s appointment entirely

  • Failing to call or email 12 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule your pet’s appointment

Missed Appointment Fees:

  • Established Clients - $65

  • New Clients will lose their exam deposit of $105

Canceling or Rescheduling Appointments:

You can cancel or reschedule an appointment by emailing us at info@ballardanimalhospital.com or calling us directly at 206-782-4222.

Multiple Missed Appointments:

After 3 occurrences of no-show appointments, Ballard Animal Hospital reserves the right to refuse service to a client. Patient records can be printed, emailed, or faxed to another veterinary practice upon request.

We know there may be circumstances that impact your schedule beyond your control. We simply ask for communication so we may better help you and are able to provide medical care to the many pets who need us. If you have a special circumstance, please call to speak with us. We are here to help!

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, cash, and personal checks.
